Artist Interview

Amy Broderick interviews John Monaco about a group of work built around, based upon and utilizing multiple castings of a large wooden wedge.

Amy Broderick: So, could you say what you just said?
John Monaco: I was telling you about the wedges.

AB: So, one of them is a "Prime Object"?
JM: One of them is a "Prime Object". Because it is. Well, because it became a "Prime Object", because it straddled that line between what's real and what's abstract.

AB: Right. We'll get to that later.
